The loss of The Donoho Hotel has left fifteen devoted women — Christy Biggs, Teresa Claridy, Jayden Powell, Allison Bush, Kerrigan Knight, Swey Lane, Brinkly Baxter, Emilie Peters, Beth Fast, Heather Thompson, Chloe Jones, Kaila Reecer, Emma Browning, Bianca Bartley, and Erika Cartwright — suddenly without the income they were counting on to get through the holidays. These are the women who were always on call, always ready to meet every guest’s needs, and who poured their hearts into their work. They were depending on the Thanksgiving season and the 257 meals they were prepared to serve — the pay and the tips that helped carry them through winter. Now, instead of the holiday income they relied on, they are facing this season with nothing. The fire didn’t just take a historic building; it took away the financial stability of these fifteen hardworking women.
Donations to this fundraiser will help these women survive the winter and holidays by covering essentials like food, utilities, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, gifts for their children, clothing, and standard bills while they look for new work. 100% of every donation will be split equally among all fifteen women. Your support will help them replace the income they’ve lost and give them a measure of comfort and security during the holidays.
If you feel moved to help, your kindness will make a direct and meaningful difference in their lives. Thank you for standing with these women in their time of need.
