Support Dan Smoker Fund

Anyone who has worked at Ibotta for more than a few weeks knows Dan Smoker.  He is the guy with the big beard.  He is also the guy who goes out of his way every day to help you out, whether you're a new PM learning the ropes or a BizOps associate having offer setup issues or an Ibotta Care rep figuring out how to respond to a Mobile Shopping customer who needs help.

Now we have an opportunity to help Dan out.  On Saturday 3/3, Dan's father suffered a bad fall while hiking Castle Rock with Dan's son, Eli.  He broke his pelvis, femur, seven ribs, and his neck.  Miraculously, after three surgeries in three days, it looks like Dan's dad is going to be okay.  But the road to a full recovery will take months, and Dan and his family have already been through a lot.

On top of everything else, when Dan and his wife Sarah received the call about Dan's dad, they were in San Diego on the first day of a weeklong trip to celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary.  They jumped on the first flight back to Denver and have been by Dan's dad's side ever since.  Let's raise enough money to allow Dan and Sarah to take the trip they never got to take.  Let's support a guy who is always giving his time and energy to others and show him we're here for him too.
