Support Cory in Paying a Debt

Donation protected
Hi. My name is Cory and I am in desperate need of help. I will be taken to court should I find myself unable to pay the settlement cost of a debt that I cannot pay due to my ongoing epileptic disability.

My condition began Summer of 2009, where I believed that I was simply experiencing extreme bouts of Deja Vu, which would leave me fatigued, in pain, and nearly unable to perform mundane tasks. In 2011, I was formally diagnosed with Complex Partial epilepsy in the temporal lobe. I have been on medication since, but these medications only help me deal with the attacks, they don't eliminate them.

As you might expect, epilepsy makes work even more challenging, to the point I required government aid. I qualified for FMLA in 2013 for a job I received right out of college, yet two months later, in 2014, I was let go. I followed that job up with one at a dairy farm, yet after suffering an epileptic attack near a conveyor belt, I was put on restrictions by my doctor and was subsequently fired by my employer. In 2018 I worked for an insurance agency and suffered my first-ever Grand Mal seizure at the office. I was allowed to work from home, but ultimately, due to the frequency of the attacks, it was difficult to remain working there and I was let go.

At this point, with no other options available, I left the labor force and pursued Social Security Disability. This process lasted over two years, with the case being tried before an adjudicator. It was ruled I shouldn't receive SSI as I simply did not have myself admitted to the hospital frequently enough, costing me tens of thousands of dollars I did not have for supportive care. But I did everything the court asked of me. I proved I have this condition, I showed proper evidence of treatment -- I did the work, yet because I could not afford to go to the hospital, I was denied any saving grace.

This brings me to the debt I accumulated. The debt has followed me since right after high school, when I stopped using it in 2015, and I have attempted many times to ultimately pay it off. However with how sporadically I have been able to work, and with my disability preventing me from gaining meaningful employment, the debt has continued to accrue interest and is entirely out of my reach alone.

That is why I am coming for you all for help. I only want to be a productive member of society, but my body has limited my abilities to the point where I am merely a detriment. I ask of you all, humbly, to help me pay this debt off and avoid a lawsuit.
