Support Collin's Road to Recovery

Donation protected
On January 17th, 2022, Collin McSpirit (son of Kevin McSpirit and Lisa Kleckner) was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at The Medical Center of Aurora after a serious motorcycle accident. The accident resulted in brain trauma and severe bodily injury, including his left leg being amputated above the knee. At 27 years young Collin, a Marine Corps veteran, was building his life in Colorado. He was a Crew Chief at a local moving company, a Psychology student at Community College of Denver and enjoyed an active lifestyle full of hiking and snowboarding.

Due to the severity of his injuries, we are setting up this GoFundMe page to help pay for some of Collin’s medical bills. Unfortunately, the individual at fault (and ticketed) of the accident has minimal insurance to cover the costs of intensive care, multiple surgeries, upcoming months of specialized rehab and long-term medical accommodations. We know that this is just the beginning to a very long road to recovery.

We are asking our friends and family to contribute any way they can, whether it be a donation to this GoFundMe page or keeping Collin in your prayers, every little bit of support counts. Any money raised beyond required care will be donated to nonprofits supporting people in Collin’s position.
