Support Cesar's Kidney Disease

Donation protected

My father has battled the diabetes but like they say its a silent killer, my father started retaining water mainly in his legs and stomach till the water started getting into his lungs, he was admitted to the hospital in 2017 and was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease Final stage, meaning his kidneys have lost nearly all of their ability to function effectively. At this point, our options are eventually dialysis or a kidney transplant in order for him to live. As all Father to protect their children, he downplayed how serious his condition was. Early this Month he lost his memory and didn't recognize any member of our family we got really scared as we didn't know what happened. All this was from one day to the other we had no explanation or reasoning as to why he was acting that way, we decided to take him into the Emergency Room to get him checked up he went through several exams such as blood work, X- Rays, Urine, etc. The Emergency room doctor informed us that his Ammonia levels were really high, leading for him to have confusion and lost of memory, All from the kidney disease. ER Dr. suggested we take him to his primary doctor to get some medicine to lower his Ammonia levels since he has kidney problems they couldn't prescribe him any medication at the moment we waited until Monday yet things were getting worser each time as we were arriving to his primary doctor he got down and completely lost his balance of his legs. He had no strength in his legs anymore or arms, we had to carry him around to places he had no reasoning of himself when trying to sit down he couldn't his muscles weren't cooperating with him. We decided to return back to the Emergency Room to get more exams done to get answers to our concerns. The doctors in the ER decided to hospitalize him to try their best and figure out why he was confused and had no reasoning of himself. We weren't allowed to enter the room with him due to the Covid 19 circumstances, we were all sad at the fact that he was confused and didn't know what was going on and no one being there to be with him. His first day hospitalize was full of exams and him just wanting to sleep all day he spend 5 days at the hospital till they finally stable him, his life style has deteriorated a lot but he don't loose hope we can find a kidney donor for him.
