After two full cycles of chemotherapy and a difficult, invasive surgery, Carson received the incredible news he was cancer-free and had the chance to ring the bell at Roswell, celebrating the end of his journey. But just three short months later, their world was turned upside down again — the cancer has returned.

Now, Carson is undergoing second-line chemotherapy and exploring every opportunity for clinical trials. This next phase will put an enormous strain on the Shanahan family’s finances, emotional well-being, and overall strength.
