Support Carlye's Family After House Fire
Don protégé
On the afternoon of May 2, 2025 while on a roadtrip bringing her son home from school, part of Carlye’s mom’s house caught fire and is now uninhabitable.
It’s the half of the house her mom’s bedroom was. It was like her sanctuary and she loved that place. The whole house including basement (where Carlye resides) is smoke damaged including all clothes blankets linens etc.
Thankfully there were no injuries.
Once the fire was extinguished, crews had to open up walls and ceilings to look for hot spots. They also had to cut a hole in the roof to vent the heat and smoke.
The house needs to be emptied and they plan to find a rental to live in for the next year while repairs are done.
I have known Carlye since the kindergarten bus and she has always been smiling and full of bright positive energy. She hasn’t asked for any support other than prayers and laughter from friends and loved ones. If ever there was anyone deserving of support, it’s Carlye. My hope is to ease their burden and offset their loss and pain with some financial support. Please consider a donation, no amount is too small.
