Support Building Ralph's Mobile Produce Stand
Ralph Ford is a Navy Veteran, proud father to two daughters, and caring community member. Born and raised in Fort Collins, CO Mr. Ford has been a local Coloradoan for the majority of his life. He is passionate about helping people and has found a way to do so by supplying produce to local communities whether it be to firefighters during the historic wild fires in the summer of 2020 or the COVID-19 pandemic.
While he kept his business open during the pandemic, Ralph recently found himself in a bind when the land his well known Lyon's Farmstand was sold and plans to build a 32 or possibly 52 room hotel have been circulating in local Lyons, CO community. While many community members spoke out in support of helping Ralph maintain his business location, Mr. Ford did not have the financial resources to buy the land underneath his feet.

Mr. Ford has transformed a challenging situation into an opportunity. He believes in the need for locally sourced produce and fresh food to be in communities that need it most. Luckily, various counties are easing zoning codes to allow for more roadside stands.
With your support, Mr. Ford will build a Mobile Produce Stand that will be set up throughout Colorado so he can continue to serve with purpose and passion. Costs to build a the cooler that will support the Mobile Food Stand are $16,458. This will cover the costs of the car hauling trailer, insulation, air conditioning unit, labor costs, branding/marketing, and electricity costs.
