Hello! We are reaching out to raise funds to help support all of our incredible horses and ponies at Broomhill Manor Stables!
Due to the Covid-19 out break we, like many other businesses have been forced to close. However sadly, horses cannot simply go on 'lock down' as they still need to be fed and cared for, and unfortunately no Government funding is available to us. Therefore, the continued care and feed requirements of all the horses and ponies is increasingly becoming more and more difficult to fund with no money coming in from the riding stables.
So we ask, if you are able to donate, please, please do so! No matter how small! All donations will be going towards supporting ALL the horses and ponies that you can see in the above video including hay, feed, field rent, farrier costs etc. By donating you will be helping to keep our little horsey family together and allowing us to continue to provide riding for all. We offer horse and pony trekking for everyone, from little tots' first rides to local children with disabilities. We also run unicorn days, and birthday parties which allow local people to get a taste of riding and horse care . Broomhill Manor Stables are the only riding stables in the area that offer such a unique experience to holiday makers, from novice first timers and family rides to experienced cliff gallops. We are often a firm favourite in their holiday schedule.
At this time of year we are usually over run with people, and we rely heavily on the tourism trade to make money, which then supports the horses and ponies throughout the quiet winter months. As this is not happening this year, we are becoming increasingly concerned for the future of the stables.
We have a very loyal and dedicated group of local adults and children who are sadly missing out on riding their favourite horse/pony, some of whom have disabilities and spending time with the horses is like therapy to them. Reaching out to old friends, and locals of Bude and beyond to support us in any way they can.
Any donation you make will go straight to the horses and will help keep our local small business going through this awful time.
