SUPPORT BRIGHTLINGSEA MUSEUM

BRIGHTLINGSEA MUSEUM is a vibrant new attraction which opened at the beginning of September (although we have now closed until April 2021). The museum’s new Exhibition Gallery showcases the town’s unique coastal and maritime heritage, including our connection with the Cinque Ports, the ancient oyster trade and shipbuilding industry. It offers something for visitors of all ages and is a considerable draw both for Brightlingsea residents and the whole of North Essex and beyond.

Entry to the museum is free so that everyone can visit as often as they wish, and the museum is run completely by volunteers. This means we rely totally on donations for upkeep/maintenance and to enable presentation of new displays, so every donation will help.
