Support Big River Kennels

Big River Kennels, like many other small businesses, has been hit extremely hard by the Covid-19 outbreak. This Spring Break week should have been one of our busiest times of the year for boarding, yet our occupancy is essentially at zero. We sympathize with our valued customers who were forced to cancel their trips, and we miss having their dogs here with us. 

In our search for resources, we came across the Small Business Relief Initiative, by Quickbooks. They are committing up to $1 million to help businesses like Big River Kennels and are using the hashtag #SmallBusinessRelief. We created this campaign to be a part of that effort.

To better serve the BRK pack, we recently made a significant capital investment in our business, a new building to house offices and vastly more training space than we currently have. This new space was also intended to expand our kennel capacity by freeing up existing space in our current building, as well as allow us to begin offering group training classes. Many of you have followed along with the construction via Facebook or your visits to the kennel. Some of you have even helped.

Funds raised from this campaign will be used to complete the new facility and meet our business and family financial obligations during this uncertain time. And, allow us to be here for you and your dogs when we all can celebrate the end of the Covid 19 pandemic.
