Basingstoke Gymnastics Club is a registered charity, operating for over 50 years. With over 1,800 active participants every week, we are one of the largest clubs in the UK and one of the very few clubs that has multiple elite disciplines under one roof. We produce National, International and World Champions, as only last November one of our Tumblers was part of the Women’s team that won the gold medal at the trampoline, tumbling and DMT World Championships.
We are the largest single youth organisation in Basingstoke, offering gymnastics classes for all ages and abilities from baby through to adult gymnastics and we have a large disability section, again for children and adults of all ages. We are committed to serving the community and making our exciting sport accessible to as many people as possible, as our mission is to make sure every visitor & member, whatever age or ability reach their full potential in a fun, safe and positive environment and this has been recognised externally by the club becoming very proud winners of the Basingstoke & Deane Club of the year in 2018, 2015, 2013, 2008, 2003, 1999 and 1998.
We are asking those who are in a position to do so to support the Club by helping us ensure we are able to continue providing our services in the future, as the Clubs main goal whilst we remain closed is quite simple, to carefully negotiate this period that supports and protects our club and the services we provide to our members, our gymnasts, our staff and the wider community, which secures the future of our club not only now, but for future generations. We understand these are challenging times for all, but we hope some may be in a position to support our Club. No matter how big or small, every donation is greatly appreciated.
We are remaining passionate and committed to our community, the sport of gymnastics and our Club and we look forward to welcoming you all back as soon as we can re-open. In the meantime, we will be continuing to provide an exciting range of live sessions, gymnastics videos, challenges and exercises via our Club Facebook and Instagram pages.
