Support Avery and Lauren’s IVF Journey

I’d like to start off by introducing ourselves. My name is Lauren and I am happily married to my husband Avery and I am fundraising on our behalf!

We met in May of 2016 and after dating long distance for a brief time we knew we couldn’t be apart. We moved in together in October of 2016 and have been inseparable ever since.

I always knew that I was different and that when the time came to starting a family it wouldn’t be easy. I started seeing specialists when I was 18 and that is when I was diagnosed with PCOS and it has been a long journey ever since.

When Avery and I knew we were ready to start a family we proceeded to the next step. We have spent years trying every approach we could, and sadly my body rejected all of them. Our specialist sat us down and told us what our next step would be. I will be going in for sugery (ovarian drilling) and then we can begin In vitro fertilization (IVF).

We thought we were prepared for everything, and hearing those words and knowing we won’t be able to ever have a natural pregnancy was devastating. Although it is not the approach we had hoped for, we have not given up!

We have always dreamed of becoming parents and we will do whatever it takes to achieve that. However, due to my health we are on a time frame and the cost for IVF is far beyond what we had anticipated. At this time we ask you to please consider us, keep us in your prayers and donate in anyway you can as anything helps. We are grateful for the support system we have and we thank you ❤️
