Support Asia's Internship in Genoa!

My name is Asia DeRosby, and I am currently a pre-med student at Smith College who has just been accepted into an amazing clinical internship for this summer through the Atlantis Program in Genoa, Italy!

This internship would include traveling to the beautiful seaside city of Genoa in Northern Italy, where I would do clinical work in the Ospedale San Martino. This would include clinical shadowing of various surgeons from a multitude of different specialties for over 80+ hours. The program would last for 4 weeks, more specifically from July 7th - August 3rd. The hospital is recognized for oncology, as well as their departments in neuroscience and internal medicine. 

This internship would allow me the incredible opportunity to travel, acquire clinical experience and strengthen my resume for medical school.

The cost of the program is $6,000. I have some personal funds that I can put towards the total. I will continue to work and save, but any support is greatly appreciated so that I can make this internship and my dream possible!

FIRST HALF OF THE INTERNSHIP PAYMENT IS MADE! ONLY $2,700 left to raise! Thank you to everyone who has helped me so far, I really appreciate all the kindness and support! <3 


***(OLD) UPDATE: I have recently found out that the grant which I thought would fund the majority of my internship cost has requirements that are not met by my internship. This means that I will have the pay the entire $5,400 on my own. In response to this news, I will be increasing the GoFundMe goal to $5,400. I will be working diligently myself to try to come up with the funds on my own, but any help is greatly appreciated.***
