Support Anthony - Tragic fire in Auburndale, N.S.

Donation protected
My name is Josée Arnold*,

In the early hours of February 19, 2022, in Auburndale, on Nova Scotia's South Shore, a fire razed the house of my brother-in-law Anthony St-Hilaire and his fiancée. It took the lives of four people, including his 9-year-old daughter, his fiancée Kaylea Savory and her two sons. Anthony managed to escape the fire and save the life of his four-year-old son.

This tragedy has left Anthony gravely burnt. He will remain in the hospital for many weeks to come, fighting for his life. Then, his family and friends will surround and support him while he grieves his loved ones and tries to rebuild his life after so much was taken from him.

Anthony is a hard-working fisherman. Unfortunately, due to his extensive injuries, he won't be able to work for the foreseeable future. We want to support Anthony during these difficult times by removing his financial stress so he can concentrate on getting better and grieve the family members he has lost in the fire.

Today, I am asking you to give generously to help Anthony rebuild his life. He needs all of us in these very difficult times.

*Josée Arnold is married to Karl Paré, Anthony St-Hilaire's brother.
