Being an educational activist, I have the intention to support others to learn. The educational programmes I offer are focused on the contribution that individuals and the community can give for positive change, with focus on social and environmental issues.

In order to sustain quality training through my work, I need to be actively involved in learning myself, and to participate in educational programmes.

Online Certificate on Education for Sustainable Development 2020
This Certificate Programme was developed under the framework of the UNESCO Chair in Education for Sustainable Development with the Earth Charter, coordinated by the Earth Charter Center for Education.

It is a revolutionary programme that will support me support the change!
By participating I will be able to deepen my understanding, knowledge, and skills to integrate Education for Sustainable Development and Education for Global Citizenship.
Completing the programme will give me the chance to join the Earth Charter Educators Network.
Why am I fundraising for this?
In October 2018 I launched a GoFundMe campaign for health reasons. I had been recently diagnosed with Lyme Disease and the medical expenses were a real burden.

The campaign was very successful and I was able reach and overcome the aim. But the illness kept me from working for over a year and the expenses were higher than calculated. This means that the fundraising helped but was not enough.
It turned out that I have Lyme Disease in a chronic stage. I keep treating and maintain a very specific diet and my personal and professional life has to adapt to the changes that the illness brought. I am still not able to work full time and in certain phases my only priority has to be my health, putting everything else on hold.
Although I started doing some jobs, it is barely enough to cover for the living and health expenses.
This is why this Online International Professional Programme presents itself as a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop new professional opportunities.
It is accessible because it is online.
