Support Alley Cat Cafe

Unless you're living under a rock in a very sanitary oasis, you know that Covid-19 has forced life as we know it to slow down abruptly.

And part of that is a good thing.  More family meals, more games, more time for quiet introspection with your cat...

But as a business, these times are tough.  And when you have a business that feels more like a home than work, you don't want to forsake it.
Our patrons and purristas have bonds forged from a love of cats and comfort.   We find ourselves genuinely missing our regular faces, who's orders we didn't need to ask.  Our cats are lonely, wondering where all their adoring fans went to.  And for the most part, our staff is scared, being responsible and socially distancing at home.

The Alley Cat Cafe is trying to stay afloat safely, with curbside pickup and delivery options.  While this is enough to make some people's day, it's not enough to make payroll for our beloved crew, or to keep up with the expenses of operating a business. 

So we're asking for help. 

If the Alley Cat Cafe has helped you when life was getting you down, and that cup of tea and cat in your lap was just what you needed? 
Does knowing that someone is always happy to see you make your day?  Have you delighted in watching our kittens cheerfully murder toys while you drink some of the best coffee in town?  Are you one of over a hundred people who have adopted cats through the cafe, doubling Browncoat Cat Rescue's adoption numbers, and saving more lives? 
If so, know that we love you, and want to see you when these uncertain times have passed us by, leaving our community stronger than ever. 

Your donations will go directly to keeping Alley Cat Cafe alive as you know it, by supporting payroll, rent, and upkeep. 

Ithaca has a beautiful community, with some amazing small businesses, and we aren't ready to throw in the towel!  But while we wait for the sluggish behemoth that is the loan/grant application process to progress, we could use the support of our friends and neighbors to get through these darker days.
