Support Alice Denson Rebuild From House Fire

The winter storm of February, 2021 has been mentally and physically trying for many — especially for Alice Denson and her immediate family. During the power outages that left so many searching for answers to an uncertain future, Alice, her grandson and his family sought shelter with her daughter who still maintained power. Due to toddlers being in the home and Alice’s health concerns, the family made the decision to seek shelter elsewhere once temperatures in the home dropped beneath 55 degrees and the family was approaching day 3 of no power. Unfortunately, little did they know, that would be the last time they would see the home Alice had raised three generations of her family in. The night of February 16th, neighbors frantically called Alice to notify her that her home of more than 30 years, was engulfed in flames. Upon arrival, all Alice could do was watch in horror as her whole life was up in smoke — eventually, it was determined that the cause of the fire was due to the random onset of power to the home. With no home owners insurance and becoming a widow in spring of 2020, Alice and her family just cannot seem to catch a break — and are still in the midst of paying funeral expenses of her late husband. All of the belongings, with exception to some pictures and belongings in the very back room, were ravaged by the heat and flames, including a family vehicle in the garage.  Currently, Alice and the other residents are residing with family members without any of their belongings and already in a financial struggle from the loss of her husband. Any and all contributions to the efforts of rebuilding such an established homestead, will be forever cherished and appreciated.
