On Friday, November 7, 2025, our community suffered an unimaginable loss. Alexis Jackson, a devoted single mother, tragically lost her life in a car accident. Alexis was a bright light — a woman whose laughter filled every room. EVERYONE who came into contact with her has a memory that will stick with them forever.

She leaves behind four beautiful children — Nyla, Layla, Aaron, and Williona — two of whom are still school-aged. These children were the center of Alexis’s world.

Now, in the wake of this heartbreaking tragedy, her children face an uncertain future. Family members and loved ones are doing everything possible to ensure the children can stay together and continue to feel the same warmth, security, and love they had before this awful event. But the financial burden that comes with such an unexpected loss is overwhelming.
