Support Alexis

Alexis, my friend and sister, was in an unfortunate incident Friday night that resulted in her hitting her head and blacking out for a couple of hours. She was found laying in the middle of the street knocked out and unaware of what happened. Fortunately she was found but does not recall being found or much of her trip home. 

For the last two days, she has struggled with memory loss, nausea, confusion, and anxiety. Sunday night was the 3rd time she had been to the hospital in a period of 24 hours. Sunday night she was taken in for a CT to see if the fall resulted in a brain bleed. After hours of waiting to find the results, they found that there was no bleeding. While we are so fortunate she shows no signs of bleeding, she is still  experiencing pressure behind her eyes.

Lexis is unable to work, has a very limited memory, cannot look at bright lights, and cannot look at movement without pain in her eyes and head. 

Over the next two week she will continue to see her concussion specialist to check in and ensure she is recovering on track. Next Friday, she has surgery for her endometriosis which will cause her to be out of work for another 2 weeks. 

At this time, she is unsure of how her bills will be paid the next couple of months. We would like to ask for your support to help Alexis be able to take the time off she needs to heal from the incident and from her surgery coming up. 

For those who know Alexis, she is a very independent woman and this journey has been and continues to be mentally, physically and spiritually exhausting. You also know she is a strong fighter and continues to push through all obstacles thrown her way.
