Support Marisela Gomez’s Surgery Bills
A few months back around February 2020, Alex (legal name Marisela) was experiencing on and off stomach pains, so bad we took a trip to the ER. The first time they tested and found nothing wrong, telling her to go home and rest. Later in May the pain returned, so fiercely that even among the pandemic in our state of WA we took the trip to the ER again, this time they found her gallbladder was inflamed and she was scheduled that afternoon for cholecystectomy - gallbladder removal.
Even after insurance with the bills coming in, we are having trouble paying for the remainder of the procedure. Last year due to on the job injury, Alex was medically separated her job and has been having a difficult time finding work due to the PTSD and other trauma, not to mention the pandemic.
With everything going on we have finally decided to reach out for help.
There is an arrangement with the hospital that we can pay over the next 12 months, $374.62 per month, until it is paid off. We have been living off of a single income and cannot afford this bill on top of everything else at this time.
If we can get even a little bit of this paid off, we would have some breathing room for other bills and life expenses.
Thankfully, Alex has completely recovered from the surgery, but this debt looming over us has been detrimental to our wellness. We realize we cannot cover this on our own and appreciate any help received.
