Support Adele's Journey to Recovery

Adele Younes, is a 19 year-old freshman at Emmanuel College who recently contracted a rare form of bacterial meningitis which lead to septicemia on March 16th 2024.

During her first semester of college, Adele made dean's list, and thrived academically. She is a beautiful young woman, who is full of life and can light up the darkest rooms. There is never a dull moment with her as she is always uplifting those around her. Adele is kind and loving with the most beautiful soul.

Adele is being treated at a Boston hospital with her parents and loved ones by her side. After weeks on life support, she finally regained consciousness and is now dealing with the severity of her illness. She is currently undergoing multiple complex surgeries with many more to come. Unfortunately for Adele that included the amputation of her fingers and left foot. As she is fighting through this illness, she remains determined. Her road to recovery will be long with many obstacles and medical expenses. 

The cost of prosthetics and all the expenses included are far beyond what her family is able to afford. With your support, they will be able to better provide Adele with the prosthetics that will improve her mobility as well as aid her in relearning daily tasks.
