The family of Adan Soto Ortiz is facing an incredibly challenging time, and we are reaching out to our community and beyond for support. Adan has been in and out of the hospital since before Christmas. Without health insurance, the cost of hospital stays, ongoing treatments, and necessary medications has become overwhelming. He is diagnosed with Class IV lupus and is currently on dialysis, requiring consistent medical care as he fights this illness.

Anyone who knows Adan knows the kind of person he is—kind, respectful, hardworking, and dependable. He was an active part of the Mohave High School community and made a lasting impact on those around him through the classroom and athletics. Adan was attending Grand Canyon University until this life-altering diagnosis occurred, shifting his focus from college classes and future goals to fighting for his health.
