Adam DeArmon Legal Fund

Update January 26, 2023

Beloved Friends and Relatives,

Adam is feeling inspired and eager to share an important update about the monumental progress that has been made in his case since his last update.

In the time that passed from June – December of 2022, Adam and his legal team were working tirelessly to navigate a series of stressful court appearances and complex legal negotiations.

Today, Adam is grateful-beyond-measure to communicate a positive update that, on the afternoon of December 21, 2022—the 2022 Winter Solstice—Adam and his legal team successfully navigated a pivotal and unprecedented turning point in his case when they met with legal authorities at the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Evidence Building to carry out the Judge’s Orders for the secure return of more than 620 of Adam’s cherished belongings that were deemed as wrongfully taken by authorities from Adam’s home and Native American Church, ONAC of ICSAW.

After a period of more than 1 year and 9 months, Adam is grateful to now be reunited with cherished and irreplaceable personal items, including his birth certificate and family photos & videos, as well as his Church’s entire stewardship reserve of sacred peyote sacrament.

In providing this update, Adam feels it is important to also express a message of sincere acknowledgment and gratitude to the legal authorities in his case who listened to him [and his legal team] through this unique process, and for applying care for the healthy preservation of his Church’s sacred sacrament during the large time gap that it was outside his direct stewardship.

Unfortunately, Adam also discovered some significant losses through this process, including the catastrophic loss of an entire crop of medicinal hemp that was recklessly destroyed due to avoidable misidentifications that were made by misinformed authorities.

There are far too many details to be able to provide a thorough update on this page. Adam is looking forward to sharing more about these pivotal developments and his vision for a blossoming future in upcoming video reports and live-stream interviews.

There is still much work to be done to ensure justice is achieved in this story.

Although these recent developments in Adam’s case have minimized the need for Adam to cover costs for ongoing litigation counsel, his legal journey is not yet complete and Adam has much rebuilding work in order to rejuvenateONAC of ICSAW.

Adam is still in a position of need of financial support from his network. If you can, please contribute any amount you are able to Adam’s updated Advocacy and Rebuilding fund.

Adam is calling upon his network to support efforts to rebuild his Church and sacred cultivation program, and to help him cover the costs of travel and legal fees for his remaining legal proceedings – Adam and his lawyer must return to court in Arizona in the near future to pursue the re-classification of Adam’s Class 6 undesignated felony to a misdemeanor. The ultimate goal of Adam’s legal team is a clean-slate record for Adam so that he is empowered to move forward from this challenging situation to rebuild his life and his Church.

“To all my family, friends, colleagues, church membership tribe, and to all generous supporters of my story à I thank each of you beyond measure. I truly could not have made it this far without each of you and your generous prayers and loving support through this journey. Moving forward, I am excited to rebuild in a new way. I invite you to donate to my cause, any amount that you can give now will be highly appreciated and will help me to continue with the ancestral wisdom that has been passed down to me by the Elders a long time ago.”

Now presents a ripe opportunity for all of us to continue forward as a united force. Your support to Adam’s fund will empower Adam and his legal team to continue working hard to build upon the positive developments in Adam’s story toward the protection of sacred sacraments under the Religious Freedom Act!

Aho!

Update June 6th, 2022

State prosecutors filed ten criminal charges against Adam DeArmon all related to his Indigenous Religious and Peyote Medicine Plants preservation project he worked on for over 20 years in 2021.

In May 2022, Arizona State and Yavapai County Superior Court dropped nine charges out of the ten filed. However, Adam plead guilty to one of the charges Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Class 6 Felonies that can be considered an undesignated offense (plastic bag) to avoid going to prison.

Adam is now calling for justice, of the court charge filed against him but encouraging people to raise their voices to defend adam & Indigenous Rights and Freedom of Religion, at this time he invites government institutions and authorities to once and for all stop indigenous persecutions and respect ancestral traditions protected by the Constitution of the United States of America.

In order to achieve this, Adam needs to raise still $250,000 to pay lawyers, to retrieve his industrial hemp CBD business Arizona Green Gold & his Super Foods Peru products/company. Now he is Rebuilding his life & land where he is living in California to restore his Native American Church as a Minister of ONAC and ICSAW.

“Please, help me to move on with my life and spiritual purpose. Let’s work all together united to make justice for our Indigenous people. I invite you to donate to my cause, any amount that you can give now will be highly appreciated and will help me to continue with the ancestral wisdom that has been passed down to me by the Elders a long time ago as the spiritual custodian of the sacred plants and as a man who is bringing the union between Indigenous and Government to work together in peace.”

Aho!,

Dear Friends and relatives,

Adam DeArmon, who is a church minister and dedicated humble servant of the sacred sacraments under Oklevueha Native American Church (ONAC), a state and federally recognized NAC chapter, has been raided, arrested, and wrongly accused and needs our help in this critical moment!

For over 20 years, Adam has dedicated his life to the efforts of protecting and preserving the natural sacraments and supporting the effort to get these healing plants to indigenous tribes and communities for their ceremonies and healing which are fully protected under the 1st Amendment Rights of the religious freedom act.

On February 2, 2021, local drug enforcement, armed with automatic weapons, violently and unconstitutionally raided Adam and his Native American Church: ONAC of ICSAW (International Center of Spiritual and Ancestral Wisdom, LLC), destroying his home, taking all sacred medicines, stealing his money, and confiscating and destroying his entire industrial hemp farm, which was fully permitted under Arizona law (all permits were in plain sight at the time of the raid).

Adam has been charged with 10 felonies for possession and distribution of plant medicines, despite being sanctioned under Federal Law as a Native American Church (NAC) minister.

Adam’s civil rights have been severely violated and left without the financial resources to defend himself. We must support Adam to protect his rights, and defend our First Amendment right to work with sacred sacraments.

CONTRIBUTE TO ADAM’S LEGAL DEFENSE FUND:

Funds are needed to pay his lawyer to defend Adam. Legal fees are estimated to exceed $250,000.

This recent but far from isolated violation and assault upon the First Nations peoples' religious freedom as well as their spiritual beliefs & practices by the government overstepping its authority within the Constitution has a huge impact on both indigenous people as well as all people concerned about their 1st Amendment Rights.

This is an opportunity for all of us to band together and stand up for the protection of sacred sacraments under the Religious Freedom Act!

Leaders from multiple indigenous tribes, several national & international organizations, the CannaSense Foundation as well as Liberty Activists and Plant Sacrament/Medicine advocates from all over the nation are stepping in line behind Adam in his fight against the state of Arizona and effort to rebuild his church for the continuance of his vital mission.

Now is the time for you, the Individual, to accept our invitation in this noble campaign in putting your attention, time, and some resources behind an effort that can truly bring effective change & send the government a loud and clear message that our Rights are non-negotiable.

As this violation by the state of Arizona has crippled Adam, his church, his practices, and spiritual calling financially, we implore you to first donate whatever your conscience dictates to this campaign then immediately share a link on all your social media feeds as well as inform friends and family members to do the same.

Afterward continue to visit this campaign for regular updates, progress, podcasts/media content regarding this landmark case that truly affects each and every one of us.

Proceeds from this campaign will be used for the following endeavors:

Legal Defense Expenses for Adam DeArmon
Costs of Third-Party Lab Testing essential in Adam’s defense
The rebuilding of Adam DeArmon’s local church Assistance in stable shelter for Adam & family
Media exposure costs Costs in recovering plant sacrament/medicines unlawfully stolen by the state
