Support A Place to Turn's First Marathon Runner!

In a few short months, I'll be running the 2022 Boston Marathon to support A Place To Turn, a Natick-based emergency food pantry. This is APTT's first-ever marathon bib, and an amazing chance to raise awareness and support for a truly special organization!

Since 1979, APTT has been serving those with food insecurity in the Boston suburbs, recognizing a need for these services unmet by urban centers. Its Food Pantry program focuses on supplying families with healthy, fresh foods, which are typically perishable items that require extra effort and coordination from volunteers and staff. As a medical student, I've seen firsthand the incredible impact that access to healthy food can have on long-term health – it's one of the core social determinants of health that affect children and families well before they ever see a doctor.

My mom Kellianne has been deeply involved with APTT for several years, and this organization is very near and dear to my family's heart. I couldn't imagine a better cause to support essential and meaningful work right in the greater Boston community – in fact, we'll run right through Natick during the Boston Marathon route!
