Help support Ghana Lions with Football & Education

This is NOT a plea for money; this is an invitation for everyone to be involved, no matter the amount. Everyone involved with the fundraising is aware that there is a cost of living crisis. This is an opportunity, as a collective, to come together and work as one.

Tyrone Mings Academy have joined forces with Platinum selling DJ/Producer, Nathan Dawe and The Futurestars Charity, in Ghana (www.futurestarscharity.org.uk) to help fundraise for the Ghana Lions with a “Go Fund Me” campaign. The Lions are using the power of Football within their village and surrounding areas for both boys & girls to develop teams and to help support local children’s health & education. The Ghana Lions require funding to help them purchase Footballs, Goal Nets, Match and Training Kit for their teams as well as books, uniforms and school equipment to support their educational needs.

Along with the expertise of the Futurestars Charity, who have already guided many communities in Ghana with educational support and successful Football Academies, we aim to set the Ghana Lions on a similar pathway to success and hope that many Aston Villa Fans would like to help us support them.

As part of the fundraising campaign, we would also like to organise for Armando, the Ghana Lions Founder, to travel to the UK and attend a home game at Aston Villa, which has always been a dream of his. Tyrone and I met many years ago at Ipswich Town Football Club and I am delighted to support him with his quest to support Armando and the Ghana Lions with the expertise and funding he needs to get his project up and running.
