Hello, I am Shelley Bradford Bell, founder of 3FIVE55 Publishing. I must first THANK all my supporters, who either through this GoFundMe or other avenues have supported the growth of my dream. With my deepest gratitude, I thank you and look forward to sharing the future with you.

My childhood love for books has been a lifelong love affair. I have written for many publications over the years, and created or co-founded a variety of magazines. I have published two books - a non-fiction, Napa Travel Guide Beyond the Vine: 2-Day Napa Tour and Boldini's Muse, a fictional account of a real-life Parisian courtesan whose apartment in Paris was opened 70 years after she left it; with a painting of her by Boldini that sold for 3 million Euro in 2010.

From a very young age, I've held two dreams. One, to live in San Francisco and Paris, and two, to write and publish books and magazines. I now live in San Francisco and Paris, I have published books and magazines and now is time to realize another dream; to create a publishing company.

The vision for 3FIVE55 Publishing is to publish both the fiction and non-fiction works of African Americans, People of Color, LBGTQ+, and women authors. 3FIVE55 will be a welcoming place for all voices.

The next phase of my journey has begun! 3FIVE55 will be releasing books by me. By the end of the year, two new authors will join the family with powerful personal stories. One on overcoming addiction, and the other stories of how dogs help us through depression. If you want to stay informed of updates and new releases, please join our mailing list.

In 2024, with the growth of 3FIVE55's infrastructure, we will begin accepting manuscripts from more new authors. Our magazine Dialogues in Culture will premiere in January 2024. 3FIVE55 will operate like the traditional top 10 publishing companies, but with stronger partnerships with our authors. Too, many new publishing companies have cropped up that seem to serve themselves and not the authors.
