If you want to give local, give to an elementary school lunch account. Central has 70% of their students that qualify for poverty status, but not all of the families know how to apply for school lunch help. Imagine a child in lunch line with his/her friends, gets to the cashier and the cashier has to take the tray away from the child because the child has charged his limit ($6.00 approx), the child is given a government peanut butter sandwich. Trust me the the children around this child know why they were given a peanut butter sandwich.
Last year, the student lunch debt was almost $2000. The staff donated out of their own pockets to a special account to help reduce the debt.
I am asking you to consider donating whatever you can afford, and this will go to the special account at Central Elementary School in Fairfield Ohio to cover the costs. Please use this GoFundMe page or send it to the school directly and that saves us the .30 per transaction and 2.9%
