Aya supporting Grappenhall Heys Primary School

Hi, my name is Aya; some of you may know me by now... Exactly one year today, I had an extensive multi-level surgery on my legs, called 'Bilateral Femoral derotation' when the doctors name it. It was an adamant time for me, and the recovery was long and challenging. I'm generally a strong and resilient person but need help in quite a few things in my everyday life. Grappenhall Heys Primary school has been my school since I was in Nursery. Now, I'm in my last year (Year 6). As a little thank you to my great school, which has supported me in every step on my long and complicated journey, I have decided to cycle 100 Kilometers in 8 weeks. This is the biggest challenge in my life yet! Especially since my legs are not as strong as they initially were, but I'm working daily to strengthen my muscles. Please support my amazing school with your generous donations to help all the children with better facilities to improve their learning journey making it more exciting in many ways.

I will be updating you all regularly with my distance achievement and try my best to try and achieve my distance goal, maybe in less than eight weeks.
