Arnold Memorial Medical Building Society provides & maintains a medical building to serve the 5 area towns of Jonesport, Beals, Addison, Jonesboro, and Columbia Falls, Maine.  AMMBS recently acquired the former Jonesport nursing home that was shut down by an out of town entity that owned the building.   In an effort to continue its medical support to the surrounding communities and area,  AMMBS has now succeeded in having the fire alarm and sprinkler systems updated and placed online.    Sunrise Adult Family Care Home assisted living center will soon be a licensed facility.   But we have one more huge hurdle before we can open it's doors and that  is to raise $18,000 to install the new floor.  The "Facility" inspector said that he would not cite us for the floor now, but that in twelve months when he returns, he will do so.  At this point,  we need to install the new flooring before we open the doors to residents.   AMMBS feels confident that the facility will be self-supportive, and with your help our beloved elderly will have a home where they will enjoy activities, scenic rides and ice creams, local events and much more.  We humbly ask you to please consider donating to this most worthy cause.    If for some reason, we cannot open this awesome facility, your donations will be returned.   Your donations are very much appreciated!
