Sunday League Football Team Edmonton Rovers

Edmonton Rovers are an adult mens football team playing in Division 5 of the Barnet Sunday League in North London.

We have been in existence for 47 years, but we effectively re-started the club three seasons ago when we brought in a whole squad of 16-year-olds to play adults football for the first time.

Those players are all now 18 turning 19 during the course of this season, while we also have some 17-year-olds who have joined us over the past 12 months.

As these players are all either at school, college, university or working only as apprentices, they cannot afford to pay to play, so we therefore need to rely on fund-raising, donations & sponsorship to help us pay our pitch, Referees and affiliation fees for the season so that the club can survive.

Our matches have been professionally filmed, edited & produced by Club Chairman, Secretary & Cameraman Laurence Hughes for the past 33 years and our match highlights have been uploaded to the hughesvideo You Tube channel for every game since 2008, making us the first Sunday League You Tube team way before others thought of the idea.
