Summit Ice Hockey

SUMMIT HILLTOPPER HOCKEY – 2020/21

Families, friends, alums, and classmates - we are seeking to raise funds for the Summit Ice Hockey Association for the upcoming season. Summit Hilltopper hockey is one of the most successful programs in New Jersey. The boys’ varsity team has won 3 straight state championship titles (2018, 2019, and 2020), and the girls’ varsity team played in the first-ever state final in 2020.

The Program embraces 25+ girls and 35+ boys assisted by talented coaches to stresses core values of respect, integrity, sportsmanship, and teamwork – all of which are important life skills towards the development  of young woman and men with strong values.  But, it comes at a cost; hockey is an expensive sport and we really need the community’s backing. 

 
Summit Hockey is funded in large part by player fees and donations, but in the current environment our traditional fundraising activities are restricted. 

 
There are numerous expenses that need to be covered to fund our teams:

Ice time  is almost 1/3 of our budget, and prices for a sheet of ice went up 20% in the last year alone.
Transportation : higher in this environment due to spacing on buses                                                                            POP-Up locker rooms:   requires a tent and a heater
Plus supplemental equipment and coaching cost : due to current covid environment.

 This year a good amount of our funding will come from this campaign, and we cannot achieve our goal without your support

Zamboni Club: $500

Hat Trick Club: $250
