Sully’s Fund Me Page - SLC 2018

Sullivan (Sully) Jack Kozicky was born at 23:40 on Friday, September 21st, 2018 at the University of Utah Hospital in SLC. He weighed 4lbs 10oz and was 17 inches long. He has ten fingers and ten toes and is as cute as can be. Unfortunately, Sully has a congenital heart defect (CHD) called Tetralogy of Fallot. He will need some serious interventions to make it through his first year of life. Sully will have two major stays at Primary Children’s Hospital. One now while he gets bigger and another one in four or five months. Open heart surgery will completely fix his heart defect and hopefully allow him
to lead a relatively normal and long life. Luckily, we have been relatively financially fortunate. The generosity of our friends and family has been overwhelming. Although we have great health insurance (Tricare) provided through my employment with the US Army Reserve, living expenses are not covered. Gas and food expenses can get pricey and we are asking for a little help. We also may need to place Samson in daycare if the stay here is longer than anticipated. We have been fortunate to have been granted access to stay at the Ronald McDonald House (RMH) which as greatly decreased our expenses. Any money left over from this scary time will be donated to the RMH. If you’ve never heard of the RMD, please look them up. It has been such an amazing organization. The charity and generosity has absolutely amazed us. We feel odd asking for money because it seems impersonal. But please know the money will be used for good. I didn’t know how to set a goal so I just arbitrarily chose $5000. Even if we get $100 we’d be so thankful! Please consider donating, if you can’t, send us some positive vibes.
