Sugar needs your help!

Two weeks ago I rescued sweet Sugar from a person who was dropping her near the Chipola River the weekend of Hurricane Irma. When Sugar was rescued she was infested with fleas. We could tell she had barely been fed because she was only skin and bones. She had her very first check up at the vet, (shout out to the BEST vet in Tallahassee) Oakwood Animal Hospital. They found a grade 5-heart murmur with an extremely enlarged heart.

Back track to 4 months ago, when I lost my dog to congestive heart failure. He had a hard but happy life. I knew I wanted to get another dog in the distant future. As soon as I saw Sugar, she had my heart. After all of the medical expenses from my dog that passed from CHF, I was not emotionally or financially prepared to go though this yet again.

Sugar has to have emergency open-heart surgery tomorrow at the University of Florida Animal Hospital in Gainesville. This surgery WILL save her life and she will be able to live a NORMAL and HEALTHY life. 100% of the funds raised will be going towards Sugar's surgery. Sugar is only 2-3 months old and deserves to finally be healthy and happy after all she has been through. If you can donate, I know she will appreciate it, along with her momma.
