Aria's Support Fund

Donation protected
My husband and I were blessed with our daughter Aria on April 3, 2017 weighing 1 pound 6 ounces. She was born 14 weeks premature. Do to here severe prematuraty, her lungs were very underdeveloped. Aria has been through a lot in her very short life. She had heart surgery to repair her heart at only 3 weeks old. Since then she has had major life threatening issues with her lungs. On August 4th 2017 Aria had surgery to receive a Trachiostomy and a GTube. The trachiostomy allows her to be on a ventilator without having to have a breathing tube down her throat, and the GTube allows her to be fed straight into her stomach. She is not expected to be discharged from the hospital until at least December. I have had to leave my full time job in order to be at Childrens Hospital an hour from our home to be able to be there for her. I have to be present so that I can be involved in her care as far as communicating with her team of NICU doctors and surgeons as well as learning how to take care of her properly.

When Aria comes home she will require at home RN care. Any care that she receives outside of that will be provided by myself and my husband. We currently live in Colorado and our family all lives in St. Louis.

We have recieved a lot of prayers and support from our family and friends. The most common question we are asked is "Is there anything I can do for you". So far Aria's medical bills are over 2 million dollars and counting. She is currently covered by Medicade and whatever remainder of her bills that they do not covered will be owed by us. We are in desperate need of funds for Arias medical care and our monthy bills. Because I need to be there with her we have lost my full time income. We spend a substancial amount of money on gas to get to and from the hospital as well as money on food while I am there with her. Last month we received a few grants to put towards our bills, but we can only apply for those grants once  a year. I am currently looking for work that I can do remotely from the hospital, and from home once Aria comes home.

My huband and I have never been the type of people to just stand around with our hands out. We have worked very hard for everything we have. It is such a hard thing to do to swallow our pride and ask for help, but at the moment it really is the only option we have left. I appriciate all of the love and prayer that we have received thus far and can't wait to see what life has in store for our very special little girl. Thank you so much for taking the time to read all of this and donating your hard earned funds if you find yourself in a position that you are able to do so. If you cannot donate, please continue to pray for our family and our sweet little Aria Jade.
