Dear Friends and Family,

Three weeks ago I found several lumps during a self-breast exam.  Without insurance it has been very difficult for me to get the proper tests I need to determine a definitive diagnosis.  My friends and I have reached out to over 20 organizations who all turned me down because they said I make too much to qualify for their programs. Some of these organizations turned me down because I make $600 too much a year - heartbreaking.  To say this has been frustrating and scary would be an understatement.  With a family history of breast cancer, it's crucial that I get the tests done as soon as possible.

With some help, I have managed to schedule a mammogram/ultra sound for July 17th which has already been paid for.  However, I need help paying for the upcoming doctors visits.   I have scheduled a preliminary exam for July 14th which will cost about $300 since they will drawing blood and doing an X-ray.  There are additional costs that include radiologists readings, loss of income from missed work, etc.
