At YACS, our creative learners are given the opportunity to learn in an arts-rich, creative, and happy environment from truly dedicated, excellent teachers. Many of the creative learners at our school struggled academically and socially before joining the YACS family because they were overlooked or uninspired in their previous classrooms.
Our culture is one of encouraging and recognizing academic, artistic, and community-minded excellence. To reward students who exemplify our school values, YACS teachers give out “Bright Bucks.” “Bright Bucks” can be redeemed at the YACS store for pencils, pens, movie tickets, and other fun items for kids. “Bright Bucks” also teach our creative learners about spending, saving, and goal-setting.
Our middle school teachers formed a “Bright Bucks” Committee to get prizes donated, but our school is growing and our creative learners are earning more rewards than we can keep up with!
With your help today, we can stock our YACS store and show our 950 K – 8 students how proud we are of their hard work and contributions to our positive school community!
