Helping Earthquake Victims

Hello, You might have heard about the tragedy that hit the Iran-Iraq border. On Sunday, November 12, 2017, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck Iran-Iraq. It left over 530 people dead and injured over 9,000 people. 70,000 people have lost their homes. One of the towns that was severely affected was Sarpol-e Zahab. The objective of this is to raise money to build shelters for families who lost their homes and to provide basic necessities like water, medicine and food. The funds raised here will not go to organizations or charities rather directly to the communities that have been affected. Let us help the families off the streets and into shelters, especially in this cold month of November. The beneficiaries will be my wife's family, friends, and neighbours who are in need and live in Sarpol-e Zahab. Please be the reason in making a difference in the lives of these families by helping them gain access to shelters and basic needs. You may not be able to help everyone but you can make a difference in some people’s lives. Any donation is appreciated. Every dollar counts. 100% of the funds raised will go to the cause. I myself will send the funds to my trustee (My brother in law) in Sarpol-e Zahab to buy the basic necessities for people and distribute it among them. My name is Homayon Yousufi. Sarpol-e Zahab, one of the towns that was affected severely, is the town were most of my extended families currently reside.
