Emergency Trip Home

My mother Fae has struggled with physical and mental health issues her whole adult life, culminating in a sharp decline due to congestive heart failure from 2016 until now.  I've already been overseas for the Air Force for 8 years and have regretfully missed so much time with her.  I was grateful to have the opportunity to be home with her for four months this summer.  However, I was forced to return to the US for UK visa reasons for a month in August and while that was a nice bonus visit, it crippled me financially for months.  My Post 9/11 GI Bill payments have finally started, but it is not enough to pay all my bills and living expenses AND another trip home for her funeral.  I would never make light or take advantage of something like a GoFundMe campaign, and didn't decide to start one until I'd exhausted other resources.  If anyone can spare even a little, it would help so much.  Thank you sincerely for easing this time of stress and hardship.  Have a happy holiday season!
