Su Refugio Music School

Dear friends,
in 2017 we offered a music school for some of the children in the Paraguayan town of Tobatí. There's a children's home there called Su Refugio, and in addition to the children living in the home there are children in the "barrios" who also participate in some activities.
The results have been encouraging. Many children showed great interest and enthusiasm, and several of them have advanced faster than my "typical" students.
So we're continuing in 2018. Obviously, we have many ideas of how to continue and expand the program -- offer classes on other instruments, create ensembles, etc. -- but like last time, it will depend on how much we are able to raise. We'll be continuing in some way during our spare time even if nothing comes in, but there's just that much more that can be done when the means are there. So we're aiming for $5,000 with this GoFundMe action, emboldened and encouraged by last year's experience. There are more details in the video above.
