Study Abroad to Querétaro, Mexico

Donation protected

My name is Jacquelyn Stroud and I have the amazing opportunity to study in Querétaro, México for 7 weeks. I am currently a graduate student at Oregon State University in the Applied Ethics Program. During my time in Querétaro, I will be taking my second year of Spanish as well as completing the practicum requirement for my Master's degree. I have created a practicum that is focused around the Indigenous popluation in Querétaro, and studying to understand their ethics, values, and what and why they hold the beliefs they do. What I plan to do is not judge the people in Querétaro, but to understand them, and hopefully write down their stories and experiences. The funds that I am asking for will help in paying for a plane ticket to México City, a bus to Querétaro, and living in Querétaro for seven weeks and then helping to fund my travel back to the U.S. This donation also allows for me to experience some of the great things offered in México, like visiting México City, Aztec ruins, as well as any travels that are allowed during my study abroad time. I understand that I am asking a lot, but every little bit counts and I do not want to give up this amazing learning opportunity. Saying that, I appreciate any and all donations, even words of encouragement!
