Help FTF Ghana Raise $100,000 To Build A Home For Underprivileged Children in Ghana

Hi.
We are For The Future (FTF) Ghana, a charitable organisation based in Ghana, made up of university students and young adults who are alleviating the plight of underprivileged children in our society. We exist to help these children by improving their standard of living, and provide them with the best education to nurture their talents and capabilities.

We started as a small charity back in 2016. Please tap the link below to see a video on some past projects.

Our passionate aim has always been to make a great and positive impact in the lives of these children living in destitute. However, if we leave them in the same harsh and unpleasant environment in which we meet them, we leave room for no cataclysmic change in their lives.

This led FTF to launch the Student Training and Education Project (STEP) in February, 2021. Under STEP, we have identified ten (10) wonderful children and signed them up to sponsor them through school, nurture them holistically and find great opportunities in life for them.

All of these children were discovered in awful and hopeless situations. Please tap the link below to watch a video on the plight of underprivileged children in Ghana and some interventions by For The Future Ghana.

But putting our children in school, sponsoring and mentoring them is one thing. There is usually nobody to care for them after school hours and no one to help them with their homework. How beneficial will school be to them, if they have to go back to the same rough and unforgiving environments that crush their innocence?

FTF Ghana’s intervention to this problem is the For The Future Village (FTF Village), our flagship project. It will be an eco-friendly gated community and a safe haven for our present and future beneficiaries.

Through this facility, FTF Ghana will provide for the total wellbeing of the children (including education, health needs and mentorship). Living within this facility will solve many of the environment-related challenges our children face. Their safety and care will not only be ensured during school hours, but all day and all week, just as they would be with their parents in an ideal world.

The absence of financial support, emotional support, familial support, guidance and general socio-economic equity in the lives of many children in Ghana dashes their hopes and dreams.

FTF Ghana aims to give underprivileged children a safe, happy and controlled childhood, as well as to prepare them for a positive, productive and responsible adult life.

With the FTF Village, these children can dare to dream. This project was launched on 20.10.2021. Please tap the link below to watch the video on the launch.

Phase One of this project involves securing a 5-acre piece of land, walling it and building the ground floors of the housing, academic and training blocks of the village, estimated to cost $100,000. And we are aiming for this phase to be completed by the second quarter of 2022.

Hence, we are extending this mandate to you and everyone within your reach to contribute in whatever capacity you can to make this project a reality.

We say children are the future. With your participation, FTF Ghana can ensure that a good number of these children will have a future worth pursuing and looking forward to.
