Student Needs New Well for Her Animals
Don protégé
Trying to save my little farm with all my animals, as my well went out. I was told that I need a new well, which is anywhere from $15,000 to $20,000.
I'm a full-time college student following my dreams of becoming a veterinary technologist, all while running my little farm all by myself. All my animals, besides my chickens, were all rescued, and rehabilitated here at the farm. Dom, my blood bay standardbred ex-amish horse was almost starved to death when I brought him home. With the special care I've given him, he came back to life, and thrives here today. Cosmos, the black bay horse, has a bad fetlock, so he can't ever be ridden. My goats were all very, very sick when I picked them up from the auction house. With vet care and good feed, they are also thriving today. I have a beautiful flock of chickens that are a joy to be around. I also have 2 little farm cats that help out. All my animals get along with each other, even my city dogs I trained to all my animals here, and they do great with them.
I do not have the funds available to take on a new well at this time. If I am forced to sell my little farm, all my animals will be looking for a home. With my horses and goats, that each have special needs, I was not able to find a place that would take any of them. I would have to take them back to an auction which I cannot even think about without breaking down. They are my life! I've given everything I am to this little farm, and my amazing animals! I'm just lost, and now begging for help, which I am not a person that does this. I fought alone for to long. Now I can't do it without you. Please help save my farm for my babies here.
Any little amount will help me tremendously!
