We're raising money to help pay for various costs for our student animated film!
What is Heavy are the Heads?
Heavy are the Heads is a 2D animated short film about a king recounting his past and present grievances. We want to explore the grey areas of morality and allow a conversation to be sparked surrounding classism and difficult decisions.
Why do you need funding?
As artists, we appreciate the importance of paying artists for their work. We want to fairly pay people helping us make this dream become a reality and we can only do that with your help. It takes a village!
We also want to be able to enter our film in festivals that require an application fee and your donation could help us do that!
Here is a breakdown of what you would be funding:
$1300
- goes straight back to two recent SJSU grads working on music and sound design!
$500
- this helps us reimburse our student animators for software fees needed to download Toon Boom Harmony Premium!
$150
- voice acting by a current SJSU student!
$200
- film festival fees! This helps us put our animated film in the festival circuit after graduation and share it with the world!
To show our gratitude, any donation over $5 will receive the items listed below. Our semester ends May 2021, so please allow us until July 2021 for your items to ship. :)
