I have been selected to represent the American Pharmacists Association Academy of Students Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) for the 2020 International Student Exchange Program in Accra, Ghana. The application process was extremely competitive and I am honored for this opportunity.
During my time in Ghana, I will work on the drug formulation process in the quality control center for a major pharmaceutical company. After becoming a pharmacist next spring, my goal is to establish programs in foreign countries to monitor adverse events, improve medication adherence, and increase access to healthcare.
Though there are a lot of expenses to make this dream come true, I am only asking for your support with travel expenses.
