Welcome to Stuarts fundraising page. Most of you are here because you know Stuart as a friend or a family member. If you are not either of those, please read about Stuart and his family. We are joining together to help ease the stress of any finacial burden, as the number one goal is for stuart to regain a healthy and happy lifestyle again.
Stuart was recently diagnosed with, Follicular Non- Hodgkins Lympohoma. Stuart is 31, married to Rebecca and father of Elena, 3 and Leighton 3 months. They moved to their new home in November, 2013. Stuart is a Physical Education Teacher at a school in his town and Rebecca his wife is a Pediatric Nurse at a local childrens hospital. His treatment begins the week of 09/07/2014 and will last 4 months. If the tumor is dissolved, he will go on a 2 year maintenance schedule. As a family, we are hoping and keeping positive that he will achieve remission.
This will be a long road ahead of us all, with lots of trials and tribulations. Please continue to support, pray and keep Stuart and his family in your thoughts. The family would like to express their graitude to each and everyone that has helped, donated, and who simply have been there for.
Updates to this page will be made on a regular basis in regards to his care. Please continue to check back. A facebook event page is in the making and will also include the link as soon as it is ready. Also, Please remember that you can continue to show support by wearing the color Lime Green, Which is to raise awareness for not only just Stuart but the many others diagnosed with Follicular Non-Hodgkins.
UPDATE- Stuart received his first cycle of Chemo on September 11th. Per his wife Rebecca " He handled it like a champ!"
