Stuart Davis' @ UNC Burn Center

On Memorial Day evening, 2017, Stu was preparing to fry fish down at Emerald Isle.   He had just come from the beach and had on his shorts and was barefooted.   Stu accidently turned the pot of hot oil over and the grease covered both legs and feet, rendering 2nd and 3rd degree burns.    Now in the hands of the NC Jaycee Burn Center at UNC Memorial Hospital, they are treating his painful burns and preparing for surgery and skin grafting.  We are told that the grafting is another painful procedure.  How many surgeries and locations will be determined prior to the first surgery that is scheduled Monday, June 5th at 6:00a.m. EST

July 8th, 2017, Stu has plans to marry the love of his life on the beach of Emerald Isle where the accident occurred.  They had planned to get a family health insurance policy.  Unfortunately, Stu has no insurance and the bills could reach in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Stuart is already suffering physically and emotionally.  It is our hope that we can raise enough money to cover his bills so that all he has to focus on is recovery and learning to walk again.
