One of Our Own

Mickey has been battling lymphoma cancer for 14 years and though once in remission with the cancer being contained, it has has now began to grow once again.

With an unsuccessful operation in May the doctors decided that he would have to
receive 3-4 months of chemotherapy with
the hope that the growth would reduce.
For anyone that has received
chemotherapy or has experienced anyone going through such devastating treatment, you would totally understand how
mentally and physically breaking it can be.

Mickey is undoubtably a strong man,
his battle is not only with cancer but PTSD and everyday living.

A fellow Stafford/Mercian has provided
him with affordable accommodation but
sources tell us that Mickey may not have all the basics that we all take for granted let
alone specific items that would assist his
recovery. Unable to work through such
times and living alone, we’re seeking to
make his treatment and recovery a little
easier by donating whatever you can no
matter how small.

Let us all come together and fight the
