Stroke Caregivers

Joanne suffered a stroke in January 2018, was hospitalized, and then went to a rehabilitation facility. Carl and Joanne’s insurance covers only 28 days in a rehabilitation facility, but Joanne is still paralyzed on the left side of her body. She cannot use her left arm or leg and needs assistance getting in/out of bed, going to the restroom, etc. Caregivers are needed in the home to help with these tasks while Carl works during the day. Joanne, also, suffers from diabetes,cardiovascular disease, COPD, Vascular Disease. Unfortunately, their insurance does not cover home caregiver services. Their children live out-of-town and have small children so they are unable to help. If you are able, we appreciate any help you can provide with the cost of home caregivers for Joanne.
