Strength for Leo's Leukemia Battle
On Friday, June 3rd, Leo Loeks a bright eyed four year old was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This has been a real blow to Bill, Megan, their boys and the rest of the family. We are all very happy that it appears that treatment for this type of leukemia demonstrates a 90% success rate. Leo's current treatment plan is for a 3 years and 2 months and involves a lot of different phases. Caring for Leo involves a germ free environment as much as possible and with having two little brothers, this can prove to be quite a task. In addition this will extremely limit Megan's ability to take on clients with her photography business. They are also making frequent trips to the hospital and clinics for treatments and tests. This is proving to be quite expensive. Many of you have reached out to them and other family members asking if you can help by making a financial contribution. Bill and Megan have been overwhelmed with the tremendous outpouring of kind words, support, prayers, gifts and different ways that so many of you have shared. This site is developed for those of you who wish to help them with a financial donation. Thank you to all of you for continuing to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
